I made a joke here about Young Sheldon being his rap name back in 2016 and to no one’s surprise my life has gone nowhere since then

Boomers. Boomers live in a completely different world from us. Theres a ton of shows like this, Yellowstone, NCIS, Law and Order SVU, Only murders in the building, etc, get fuckzillions of viewers despite never being mentioned on the internet or our social circles, and the reason is boomers.

First few seasons of TBBT was pretty funny. Young Sheldon wasn't. It was more of a drama show and it retconned things too

Neither of these were in Young Sheldon. They were just a bland family in the 90s. The show was also like 17 minutes per episode which makes it impossible to tell the typical 3 act a/b stories that sitcoms have done since day 1.
