I recall hearing that they had some plan to have an archive of all the old Stern episodes on demand on the Sirius app after the show ended as a way of keeping Gary and the rest of the staff employed in some fashion for the next decade. If that ends up being true, I’ll subscribe to Sirius just for that. I could spend the rest of my life listening from the Billy West era to Artie leaving the show on a loop.

A lot of people say that Eric the Midget dying is when the show died, but I’ve listened to enough ETM compilations at this point where I’m pretty confident saying that the Eric segments were turning kind of lame in the last few years too.
