This. There’s a black guy we hired a few months ago. He’s /fit/ as fuck and 40 years old. The job travels 2/3 of the time so relationships/family life/friendships can be difficult, but he’s single. He’s a PhD because he “wanted to learn more” despite having the same regular engineer job title I have with just a bachelor’s.

He’s usually the only one in zoom meetings with his camera off. He responds to emails like he’s writing his resume, heavy with HR style talk. In one very long email that was almost certainly written by AI, he managed to use all of these buzzphrases:
>drive further operational discipline
>contextualize the financial impact
>behavioral accountability
>escalation protocols
>enable targeted training
He also responds to people asking for account permissions with emails that say things like “your request is granted.”

He’s constantly trying to solve problems that matter to no one with unrealistic or overkill solutions. Despite this, he’s pretty bad at doing his actual job. One time I asked him a question while he was doing something and he was visible pissed off at me for disturbing him and was clearly holding back a freakout.

I recognize all this because he’s just a severely more autistic version of myself.

I was gonna say if you haven't figured out that he's on the spectrum by now then you've got bigger problems than he does.

If he's got a PhD because he 'wanted to learn more' it's probably fake. Masters are for learning more, PhDs are for research. They don't even have classes.

It was the getting pissed off when I asked a question that did it. When I’m in full focus mode (as well as my brother), distractions are the most irritating thing in the world. Of course I’m better at masking that frustration, he is apparently too far gone for that.
>>213434497
I don’t know it seems like a pretty autistic thing to do. And a PhD is a bit more than lying on your resume so it would be risky to fake it. He says his goal is consulting.

Why can't we have black characters like Doakes anymore?
Every new black character is either a blackwash of a white character or it is the faggiest gayest homo nigger imaginable.
Fuck man, I just want max of 10% characters to be black and real (not lgbt) people.

Nah, the guy has one gimmick. It's not that the character is good it that his dynamic with Dexter is amazing.
He is certainly top 5 cop characters of all times.

What happens when you get a restraining order against a coworker? Do they have to make sure you're never on the same shift? Do they have to fire you? Does the judge have to allow for work-related interaction?
