Why did it crash and burn so quickly? We don't even have an E3 anymore. It was once the best way to preview new games to the consumer. Now nobody knows what's coming out anymore.

Was it the pivot to general nerd culture that doomed G4 and other spaces? Electric Playground isn't on the air anymore in Canada and we put ANYTHING on TV.

They acted like they were too important for YouTube. I think it trickled down from their general resentment for actual nerds. I will say though, vaguely left wing attractive but indifferent to games, that demo being on the top of the pile was way healthier long term than the SweetBaby freaks that took over from 2014 to now.
