>>213437677 (OP)The act would be all about showing Batman and Superman working together as they try to stop the Joker from taking over Metropolis. The real story begins as things take a turn for the worse and Batman is forced to kill Joker to save Louis, leading into the second act. Here, Superman is forced to deal with an obstacle that can't be defeated with brute strength: Taking care of a guilt-stricken friend, which is made worse by the public now turning against Batman, forcing Superman to come out and defend him publicly. It turns out that this is a waste however, as Batman's mental state continues to deteriorate, leading into act 3: The Batman Who Laughs. In this chapter, Superman will be forced to face off against Bruce at his highest level, haven given him ample time to prepare during act 2. As the film draws to it's conclusion, a final gut-punch hits the audience as it dawns on them that TBWL is going to win and that the whole Gunn universe was doomed to be destroyed all along as Bruce finds a way to travel to other dimensions, leading into a proper Batman Who Laughs trilogy directed by Snyder himself.
