This nigga is 70.
Instead of giving us one or two more kino classics, hell be remembered for wasting the last 30 years of his life on avatarslop...
He literally hasn't done anything but avatarslop and muh underwater stuff since Titanic
>>213454141 (OP)so his age is the same as your IQ?
Avatar is awesome though.
And he's doing what he wants to do for the last 30 years, including exploring the ocean depths, at one point getting a world record for going into the ocean's depths. There is no more based director.
I'm bored of this thread
make new ones
>>213454141 (OP)>avatarslopSo far both current Avatar movies made a billion dollars a pop....why change that?
He's already said if Avatar hadn't been greenlit he would've just retired. We were getting Avatar or nothing.
avatar is fine but he should have just done a trilogy and moved on to some other shit instead of planning like 20 more films.
>>213454141 (OP)someone needs to put him in a test tube for an ai to analyze his brain and keep pumping out terminators and titanics
>>213454141 (OP)I'd rather he just make documentaries about the ocean and his experiences because i think that's a lot more interesting than the blue people.
yeah man he should be making slow burn a24 sloppa so i can give it high scores on letterboxd while i fuck my asshole with a shampoo bottle and moan
>>213454141 (OP)Yes, because of the Avatar movies he will be remembered as the biggest director who has ever lived.
you don't get to criticize the goat you little incel virgin faggot
>>213454141 (OP)Ghosts of Hiroshima is going to be his next film after Avatar 3.
https://www.cnn.com/2025/08/06/world/video/hiroshima-nagasaki-survivors-james-cameron-amanpour-digvid
>>213454451How many does he have planned? The third comes out soon right?
>>2134566045 avatars total and then he'll probably retire
Stockton, you're dead. You shouldn't be posting beyond the grave. Cameron is just better than you anyway.
Even though the Avatar series sucks.
>>213454141 (OP)He's making the most popular movies of our age
Also he's making that Hiroshima movie
>>213457357Jimbo has more cards to deal between his Dances With Blue Monkeys movies.
>>213457377So what's the timeline here?
>Avatar 3>Ghosts of Hiroshima>Alita 2>Avatar 4>Alita 3>Avatar 5?
>>213457396Might be something like that. I think there might be a bigger gap until Avatar 4 release and then later 5 than the previous ones. Especially if the earlier reporting about those movie plot lines going outside of the Sully family drama into a wider Pandora and maybe other planets is accurate.
>>213454141 (OP)He produced Alita:Battle Angel and its upcoming sequels, though, I am sure if I looked deeper there is other stuff too.
>That was the deathbed vow he made to one of the last survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb blasts, to direct a film based on the upcoming Charles Pellegrino book Ghosts of Hiroshima. The book comes August 5 from Blackstone Publishing and The Story Factory, timed to the 80th anniversary of the moment the world entered the perilous nuclear age. Martin Sheen just signed up to narrate the audiobook.
>Here, Cameron explains his passion for a dark project he’ll balance with his continuing Avatar franchise. That has resulted in $2 billion-grossing entries, and which he says he will continue until the audience tells him they’ve had enough of the blue folks from Pandora. “We drop the next one December 19th, and we’ll take it from there,” Cameron tells Deadline. “I’ve got the scripts and we’ve done preliminary designs on four and five and we’re ready to roll into it. But audiences tastes shift, and maybe the movie won’t exactly be what they want it to be. Who knows? We’ll find out. We always find out the hard way.”
>>213454141 (OP)If he wants to waste his last remaining years making boring blue cat people movies he can do so.
I just wish he would stop ruining his old movies with Ai.
>>213454141 (OP)learn some respect, fucker.
he's the reason why the alien franchise is alive today.
all hail cameron.
>>213455847He will end up giving that movie to someone else like he did with Eliza Battle Angel
>>213457377None of those movies will be made.
>>213458840>>213457357why does he like making binding oaths so much
>>213459109cameron's done a lot of damage but we can't fault him for prometheus and covenant those were ridley scott's alcoholism and senility
>>213459217He has the extra blood what else is he suppose to do with it?
His only great movies were Terminator 1 and 2, and that was because he stole the idea from Harland Ellison and William Wisher helped with the dialog.
He's always been a cornball who writes terrible dialog and his sense of aesthesis suck as evidence by his need to run all his older movies through the "blue simulated period blood in a Maxi pad commercial" filter.
>>213454141 (OP)>Instead of giving us one or two more kino classics, hell be remembered for wasting the last 30 years of his life on avatarslop...Nah, Avatar is not the worst thing. His old movies remasters are trash. It's unbelievable how he ruined the colors and blurred the pictures of Terminators. I guess I'll stick with good old HDDVD versions wishing for a D-Theater rip.
>>213454141 (OP)Movies are dead. Cameron just uses movies to fund his eccentric rich guy ventures and boring causes. No real competition in filmmaking anymore, so guys who are ancient continue sweeping up all the cash.
