Because its so obviously fake, dinosaurs have supposedly been gone for millions of years and now they got one for a movie? pretty sure that would have been in the news before the film came out btw
also, a lot of it was clearly shot on cameras there are scenes with people talking and they pretend not to notice the camera but its CLEARLY right in front of them. wouldent surprise me in the least to learn its scripted

All of the jobbers die within the first 20 minutes. You know they aren't killing Grant, the parents, or the kid, and who cares about Billy. Plus the movie ends abruptly.

JP3 should have been Grant suffering from PTSD from the events of the first movie, and getting tricked or kidnapped to Isla Nublar and seeing the ruins of the park and overcoming his distress. Would have made the original trilogy come full circle.
