Why don't they just go back to what they were known for? Everyone says "I can look up the weather on my phone anytime," but TWC has at least 2 competitors, Accuweather and Weathernation. None of them would exist if there truly wasn't a market for it. But everyone seems to loathe their non-weather programming and just want the 24/7 coverage back.

Throughout my 20s and 30s, I never paid any heed to weather forecasts. My attitude was, "It's gonna do whatever it's gonna do anyway, and I'll react accordingly when I need to." Meanwhile, dad always paid attention, particularly to 24-hour radar scans.

Right at age 40 I turned into dad, sort of. I only check radar when I have a clear indication that there's some crap rolling through, but I do check it. In that case, I now take basic preparatory steps since I'm old.
