It was a black list script, i think called The God Particle, about astronauts who get teleported to the opposite side of Earth's orbit but think they destroyed Earth (Earth is hidden by the sun until the end after they all go crazy). JJ Abram's company bought the script and rewrote it to be a Cloverfield tie in. Same with The Bunker/10 Cloverfield Lane
