My attention span is fine, I frequently watch 2+ hr long movies without getting bored, but sometimes information isn't communicated the best (same reason I always watch w subs)

The average person is able to follow the plot of an average movie without needing to read a plot summery ahead of time.

You should discuss this issue with a medical professional of some kind, you might have some sort of brain injury.

why not watch it blind once, after that you know what happens anyway if you rewatch. you throw away a one time experience because you dont like to think.

Its like you are puttin understanding above the enjoyment of your kino.

A first viewing is a one time event.
Understanding your movie can be done later after the viewing or even during subsequent viewings.

I remember watching tenet at the theater, not understanding shit. Waiting months for it to be available on torrent, then rewatching it, then going on youtube to learn more about wtf is going on.

You have a midling IQ.
But if you understand plot outlines at all from reading them that puts you above people who don't understand plots at all.
Like some people, I want to say most people, watch movies at an even baser level.
