>>213529233Yeah allow me to clarify. I've seen the whole Twin Peaks lineup before, love it and FWWM was stupendous. Around the start of the year was when my friend was invited to join me because it had been years since I watched them and was feeling like enough time passed for me to re-experience it. He likes supernatural stuff, so after I convinced him to try it he was tolerable of the soap drama that unfolds around the spooky world building. He took several episodes off from season 2, but I don't blame him. If it wasn't for my love of how absurd Windom Earle was I might have done the same. I also wanted to see Josie get turned into furniture again and then never revisited. Pic related made it all worth it in the end however; I love the bookhouse boys.
I feared that the movie however might be a complete miss with my friend. I decided to give him a rundown of what it was offering to ask what he thought about it and he said the focus on Laura Palmer didn't really interest him, despite the fact it has a lot more supernatural stuff crammed into it than the show did, arguably. So I had counted this out of our rewatch for that reason, but I'm probably going to go and watch that first before we begin season 3 anyways. Coincidentally enough that's the same viewing order I had when I watched The Return anyhow. Binged the shows, pirated the movie and the extended movie and then made it just in time for the premiere of season 3.
I guess thanks for reminding me I need to watch two things now.
