In Canada we call that a Junior Chicken. There's a full-sized sandwich called the McChicken, and also the McCrispy which is McD's attempt to compete with KFC/Popeyes/etc.

Personally I get them because they tend to have more protein while being generally cheaper. It’s also harder to fake quality when a sandwich is made from a whole chicken breast vs nuggets which are made from pink paste or industrial ground beef crumbled in a vat
