Not american, and I'm asking this in a genuine way. I used to work as a customer service and we also serve US customers as well. And that's when I learned that Americans don't have a national identification card like most other countries do. The only way to verify their identity is through passport and driver's license.

So I've been wondering, what if a US citizen never been to overseas and doesn't drive, so they won't have a passport nor driver's license. How are they gonna verify their identity when they want to open a bank account or apply for some government stuff, etc?

Because we weren't? The judicial branch was firmly Republican, and the Legislative branch was split so closely down the middle that it was practically impossible to govern. We have the Executive branch, but at least in domestic matters the Presidency is intentionally designed to be the weakest of the three branches of government, particularly if it doesn't have the advantage of a Congress that will just rubber-stamp anything it attempts.

I've been watching Lois and Clark, it's good.
Though I'm a bit disappointed now that I'm in season 2 that they axed Cat Grant as a main character. They also dropped Lucy Lane, which I guess makes sense.

Dean Cane is odd casting for Superman, he looks too distinct to pull off the idea that he wouldn't be recognized by Lois and the gang, and also has a high pitch voice which is a really awkward choice for the character.
Teri Hatcher was fucking smoking, holy shit is she hot in this show.
The guy playing Perry White is also good.

8/10, if you like traditional tv and romance shows, I would recommend.
