Personally they made the right call. It would have been disrespectful not to use Johnny's last recording he was a big reason for the success of the original show

Toby Huss's impression wasn't terrible, plus he was sort of shafted with the dei Kahn recast, and Cotton obviously regulated to flashbacks. I would of rather him stay as Kahn, but at least they didn't oust him completely

I think the problem with Dale's voice this season was having two people which made it distracting once they went to just one he sounded fine it also didn't help that one of the VA was literally dying when he recorded

Dale's voice has never really been consistent. Compare him in the early seasons to the last seasons, he sounds completely different.

Honeslty his voice was different enough that I never got used to it. I think the best course of action would have been to have him die off screen. Then we could see John Redcorn and Nancy get together officially and you might even be able to have a B story in an episode where she cheats on John Redcorn with someone else and see what HIS reaction would be.

Dale is fine. The only problem is when he yells. You can tell it's not Dale at that point.
