this movie is better than i remember it being. why can't they just stick to a simple formula of fanservice park gone wrong instead of shitty scientist/military serious slop with boring at best suspense

The worst one was the flaming cyclone of locusts they were testing something to do with crops. It was just awful, and that's the one they decided to have the original actors all appear in..

I liked the visitor center / park areas compared to other movies, but they weren’t explored or part of the movie enough. The first JW is a slop movie.
The characters in sequels are filler, especially child actors with no acting abilities or story. The adults are all the bad guys in reality. These are total slop. Worse than the FF series.

>this movie is better than i remember it being.
It was good because of the fanservice of having a fully functioning park full of people.
And the disaster that followed, with tons of people dying in chaos similar to something like The Poseidon Adventure.
They should just repeat that premise for another 10 movies. I love seeing utopias collapsing.
It'd be even better if the movie was 3 hours long and they edged us for 2 hours showing all the cool parts of the park in full operation before giving us a gratuitous hour-long collapse montage.

Yea, I had to turn that one off. Hollywood are making movies but not doing storytelling.

Agreed, the calm before the storm is the best part of the movie. They should have explored every inch of the functioning park in explicit detail before revisiting those places in ruin overrun with dinos.

>nahhh actually the park is crowded wall to wall with visitors
>all of them are wowed and amazed by the dinosaurs, even the two main children who should have visited the park multiple times as their aunt runs the place
>the park is clean and polished, nothing is run down, nothing gives any impression of a park in disrepair

Except for JW, for some reason every other movie is a remake of Lost World. It's baffling.

That was my point. People want more Jurassic Park, not more Lost World. They want it so much they keep giving every new sequel a shot.

I bailed on that one around the point when they got to not-Mos Eisley. It was also retarded how Blue went from an unpredictable animal who was barely under Owen Thunderguns’ control in the first JW to the chosen one dino-messiah who can evidently understand english by the third one.

Also, how did Blue come to live within walking distance of Owen’s cabin? At the end of Fallen Kingdom, she fucks off to the area around the mansion, unless by sheer coincidence Owen just so happened to be their neighbor or something.

Also, how does a handful of dinosaurs being released into the wilderness in North America result in dinosaurs around the planet, including things like a dunkleosteus (as seen in Rebirth)? How did they even clone one of those to start with? It’s a fucking fish.

Not to be a fag but when a character makes a decision because of plot convenience then we get a Mercedes commercial in the next scene .. yea these movies are unwatchable...

>how does a handful of dinosaurs being released into the wilderness in North America result in dinosaurs around the planet

The ending shows the auctioned off dinosaurs and embryos being spread around the world, not just the ones that escaped the gas chamber (lmao). InGen might be gone but their research techniques were probably sold off to whoever could afford it, hence everyone making their own dinosaurs by JW3.

In any case this franchise is a fucking mess. It went from
>dinosaurs are contained in small islands
>dinosaurs are brought to the mainland
>dinosaurs are everywhere and we have to coexist
>dinosaurs are dying and they're now only found in some small islands

There's no plan, nothing. I won't be surprised if they introduce an alternate timeline ala Halloween and just do a direct sequel to JP1 again.

What fucking movie did you watch? The only person that died in the retarded pterosaur attack was the stupid bitch nanny. After that all the guests vanish from the movie.
