I don't care what /tv/ says, The Rocketeer is awesome. 10/10 level fun and comfy. It's up there with Donner Superman and Raimi Spider-man when it comes to comic book movies.
>>213609654 (OP)this isn't a controversial opinion everyone agrees with you
It has been years since I seen it, but I vaguely remember thinking it was fun.
This is a Jennifer Connelly flick, right?
>>213609654 (OP)I don't know why you're acting like this is a hot take. /tv/ loves The Rocketeer, and not just for prime JConn.
>>213609705it is kind of terrible but it feels like a terrible golden era type production
>>213609654 (OP)i have a soft spot for 1930s art deco aesthetic (mask of the phantasm kinda shit), does this movie have that kind of 'metropolis' aesthetic?
>American hero who gets the girl and murders rightoid fascists.
Extremely based.
>>213610746My dude, Rocketeer is the best example of it, go watch it now.
>>213609705It's legitimately great, highly underrated movie
The lead is kind of a non-event but everyone else is so good it doesn't matter
>>213609654 (OP)I haven't watched this since I was very Young maybe I'll rewatch it I don't remember a thing about it except he found under his planes seat a jetpack suit.
Should i?
>>213610959I want to shove my rocket into her docking pod, if you know what I mean.
