Why am i the only person who thinks crash is a great fucking movie. What are the flaws? Never seen anything specific, just vaguely that it is not realistic and that it's a bit cheesey

"it's preachy" is literally it. it's a well-made film with a few brilliant scenes and nothing too bad. But it is over the top preachy. And people take offense to it. You can tell who a turbo pleb is if they just blindly use hyperbole for their bandwagon opinions instead of calling Crash somewhere in the 5-8 range. It shouldn't have sniffed best picture, much less won it. That makes people seethe.

It was easily the worst best picture winer of all time at the time. But today the film industrys decayed so far worse it's probably considered average now.
