The cgi dinosaurs and their acting like they see the dinosaurs is atrocious. It's unwatchable.

Purely gonna go and watch as a fan of the books, my hope is it plays out like the first Predator movie. Definitely hope it does well since the film was made on the equivalent of couch change.

Well at least for hollywood-production movies lol, its still an indie film so they're running on much less.
The feather effects from the trailers definitely look above their paygrade.

This shot goes hard, & with how it's obscuring the eyes... honestly highlights/narrows down the only problem with the rexes, it simply being those eyes

Honestly what confuses me the most is the rex design is a total outlier. The spino, quetz, and utah all look pretty accurate in-life and to the books so hey great adaptation on their part.
Then there's that rex. I can look past it, but they did slap it all over the marketing. Which they really should've made the utahraptors instead.

What do you mean? The movie's using the stuff we now know is more accurate than the feathers of the book thanks to the skin graphs and Sue's skeleton showing they didn't have feathers anywhere. The closest thing to the feather theory even has to hope is that the baby or very young rexes had feathers, but even that has no actual real-life evidence to support it, unlike the skin impressions of the juvenile and older Rex showing not only do they not have feathers, they don't even have something that shows there would have at one point been feathers there at all.

Game changed from the 2017 "EVERYTHING HAD FEATHERS!" wave, that's all.
