I watch movies alone. I remember when i went to see The Brutalist and the trailers were playing. When i went in I thought there seemed to be a lot of women in this screen. They were laughing at the trailer which I started to realise was actually a clip. It then occurred to me that this was the screen for Bridget Jones diary and I walked in during the movie. I had to sneak out to the screen next door to watch the right movie. Im sure those women thought I was some creep when I came in because I sat next to nobody and walked out like a loser or maybe they didnt give a fuck. If you care about everyones opinion you wont get anywhere in life.

One time I went to a movie no one cared about called Tomcats just because it starred Jerry O'Connell in compromising positions. The only other patron in the theater was also alone. He was an older gentleman. I suspected he was there for the same reason I was.

I like going to the movies but i feel like single men are being priced out. Its easier for a couple to split the bill than for a single man to afford a ticket on his salary. Anyone else have this problem? I have to travel over an hour to get to a budget theatre with a tiny screen.

I saw Uncut Gems stoned out of my fucking mind completely alone in the theatre. Thought I was going to have a fucking panic attack the entire time. Honestly felt like the perfect way to watch that movie

I dont have to coordinate arrival with other dudes, I can cruise through the concession line by myself, I can arrive early so I can watch all the previews and my bitchass friends dont whine thay we can get there 20 minutes late and not miss the movie.
