Isn't it basically a Pied Piper movie tho? Like Gladys hypnotizes the kids and makes them stay with her. Pied Piper hypnotizes the kids with music and makes them follow him.

I mean yeah, he had motive, I mean that Gladys had a motive directly related to kids, like she needed their lifeforce. While Pied Piper just took revenge but it's (in the original story at least) unknown what did he do to the kids. That's what I meant.
