Most people who shill digital have no idea how they work. Either it is an RGB mesh that interpolates per pixel colors or it will be a separate photo receptor for RGB split by a prism. The RGB mesh is blurry and shit and isn't true color because it guesses and the prism split RGB collector is shit because it still isn't full spectrum color and there are endless alignment issues as well.

There is a per-pixel capture but no one uses it because it's mega expensive and Hollywood actually likes the shitty color because it makes CGI easier for jeets to get the colors right.
