A Sliders reboot, but
>more grounded and serious than the original 90s series
>tie in teams of characters from different locations, so you can get stories outside of North America
>better budget and CGI
>more emphasis on the practical challenges of entering a new world every few hours/days/weeks with only what you can carry on your back, not knowing
what to expect

>So you want trash.

What do you mean?
I'm talking about generally more plausible alternate worlds (i.e. the Cuban Missile Crisis wasn't solved peacefully vs "yeah there's just wizards everywhere), and characters that aren't as silly and one dimensional.
But if stayed goofy and more fantastic like the original I'd still be happy.

I wish they had adapted more flashman novels back in the 70's

Given the choice of running him over with my car or hitting a opossum....they'd need to shop around for a new beer salesman.

Maybe. It had great potential but squandered a lot of it and I have grave doubts that it would be improved by remaking it, especially in the current climate

Two-part Highlander reboot
>first part covers Connor in the past, him discovering he's an immortal, meeting Ramirez, fighting the Kurgan and just generally taking part in wars across history
>second part set in modern times as the big tournament between the immortals takes place. Connor meets the cop lady and we get more info on the other immortals
I just always felt the first Highlander had to compress a lot of stuff to fit it all into one movie, so splitting it up into two lets you really flesh out everything
