People are conditioned, and rightfully so, that when you’re 27 and above, you have a girlfriend or a wife and you’re basically living the adult life. Because of the contrast between what is achievable to zoomers by the time they hit 30 and increasingly higher lifespans of boomers. A combination of the aspirational middle class adult life being out of reach for most people and social media giving everyone dysmorphia. Boomers and Xoomers were able to get comfy lives before middle age with the same jobs. Millennials are hitting middle age and can't buy houses so they don't want kids. Zoomers should be getting married now but both the dating landscape and job market are abysmal so they're broke and lonely as they approach 30. Pretty grim.
