It's a great show but very dated to the '80's.
Whatever questions you have about why things happened the way they did on the show the answer will most likely be because it was the '80's.
It was a different time than now and things like style and fashion and music was a very important part of life at that time.

The '80's was pre-black culture in America so seeing White men without having nigger influence is always a shock to younger people. We didn't always grab our dicks and say shit like yo yo yo bitch. Even the black guys at that time were of a completely different breed than those of today.

I watched it all so you don't have to. I guarantee maximum kino with no filler and no important lore missing. I did pick only the 2nd part of a 2-parter in one instance because the summary in the beginning of the 2nd episode tells you everything you need to know and you don't have to sit through an hour of less-than-kino setup. For season one the two-part pilot is only listed as one episdoe and the following episodes may be one number off if however you're watching the series counts it as two separate episodes.
