Disney has always been exclusively for girls but the degree to which Disney is dedicated to withholding any agency from male protagonists beyond being slavishly devoted to the princess is fairly remarkable. They have zero agency and no one sees a problem with this at all. You know it's bad because women don't write rape fanfiction about Disney princes but they'll write about how they want to be raped by the Once-Ler from the Lorax movie. IMO this was probably done intentionally by Disney to desexualize their films but the propaganda had the opposite effect and trained women into liking villains.
Flynn Ryder is great though. His personality drives the movie more than Punzy (altough she is cute)
>>213661987Fine, but do women want to fuck him? No. Look at what women write fanfiction about. They want Draco Malfoy fucking Hermione while calling her a mudblood.

The guy from Pocahontas gets cucked in the sequel but he was likeable, the Prince from Snow White gets a pass just for his angelic singing voice

Snow white prince I just don't remember, doesn't he literally just show up and kiss her and go happily ever after?
Regardless, fairytales have cultural significance. The male role is unfortunately mostly relegated to a plot device and self-insert character for boys to roleplay, but Disney princess movies are definitely aiming for the female child demographic, not males. You want a more masculine form? Go read Arthurian tales. Read the stories these were inspired by. You're not 6 years old and even if you can't "get" the stories, the repetition will hammer core themes into you.
>>213662905>once upon a timeAh yes, the show for thirsty housewives where whatever problems were solved would inevitably be undone an episode or 2 later for the sake of filming more episodes.
>>213663066The two princes in question, the issue is that you're seeing 1/10 of their lives in a story about a different person. This is just a Thursday where, everything else being settled in their own stories, they find the hottest (most specialist as well) girl they've ever seen and drop everything they had going on that Thursday to get her. They go back to ruling a kingdom or whatever on Friday but the protagonist is Snow White or Cinderella and this what they see.

Imagine how much better Hercules would have been if they depicted him accurately
>We are not the first mortals to see beauty in what is beautiful. No, even Amphitryon's bronze-hearted son [Heracles], who defeated the savage Nemean lion, loved a boy—charming Hylas, whose hair hung down in curls. And like a father with a dear son he taught him all the things which had made him a mighty man, and famous.
Theocritus, Idyll XIII
>It would be a task too great to enumerate the amours of Hercules; but among the rest, Iolaus is honored and adored to this day by many, because he is thought to have been the darling of that hero; and upon his tomb it is that lovers plight their troths and make reciprocal vows of their affection.
Plutarch, Amatorius 17
>It is not, then, without reason that the poets call Heracles a cruel wretch and a nefarious scoundrel. It were tedious to recount his adulteries of all sorts, and debauching of boys. For your gods did not even abstain from boys, one having loved Hylas, another Hyacinthus, another Pelops, another Chrysippus, another Ganymede
Clement of Alexandria, Exhortation to the Greeks
>It is related, too that Iolaüs, who shared the labours of Heracles and fought by his side, was beloved of him. And Aristotle says that even down to his day the tomb of Iolaüs was a place where lovers and beloved plighted mutual faith.
Plutarch, Life of Pelopidas

>>213662091>do women want to fuck himYeah, they do
>>213662091>what women write fanfiction aboutWomen write fanfiction about what media doesn't serve them. Villain fucking is popular in fanfiction because it doesn't happen in actual media, the same with the gay shit. They can get their fix of the hetero shit from the actual media, they don't need to write fanfic about Flynn because it's in the actual movie.
Funny enough, I was actually autistically looking into something recently and came across female fancommunities from the 2000's about pretty much wanting to fuck Beast.
>>213662091>Look at what women write fanfiction about. They want Draco Malfoy fucking Hermione while calling her a mudblood.I don't blame them. I used modern AI almost exclusively to write quick rape fics of Hermione to wank to.
