Modern Hollywood can't replicate Airplane. Every single movie is full of ironic, quippy shit.

I would like to say no and I lean toward no, but I donโ€™t know. A smart producer named something like Joseph Greenberg would call a remake box office poison, but a new studio executive with a writing team lead by Lequisha Thompson the third would be all in. Itโ€™s really a coins toss.
