"White" Asian is different than white Caucasian. They have always valued porcelain skin. They have always seen darker skin as the sign of lesser-class people who labor in the sun. They even invented the umbrella not for the rain, but so people of social quality can walk outside without their skin getting browned. The Kabuki is meant to represent the most ideal Japanese woman with total modesty and snow-white skin.

Around 95% of all human genetic diversity is embedded solely in white people. That's why it's the only race with a variety of hair colors and types, and variety of eye colors while all other races are stuck with one type only unless they race-mix with whites.
