The DCU is officially dead in the water and the Superman movie, Supergirl, Peacemaker and Lanterns will all be part of "the Superman saga". No DCU projects are in development. Wonder Woman, Teen Titans and all these other projects by Ana Nogueira are shams meant for him to get her fees for her scripts. They're not movies in active development. WB has decided to streamline the DCU into the Superman saga and The Batman Crime Saga will remain separate and the two sagas will co-exist. Brave and the Bold is NOT happening. No DCU Batman. This is all due to the lukewarm, at best, box office reception of Superman. Clayface is Elseworlds and not in the DCU but will have the DC Studios stamp.

WB has greenlit TWO official Elseworlds project not in the Batman or Superman sagas that will be announced in September and October for 2028 releases from A-list directors and A-list actors. Zazlav has resigned himself to the failure of the cinematic universe model. Expect Gunn to be phased out by 2028.

Right now, things are going back to pre-2008 where only Batma and Spider-Man make money. Of course, I think some Elseworlds movies like Joker (not the sequel) and Constantine can make bank but they'll be outliers. The mainline is Batman and Spider-Man. The Batman II, unless it's 3 hours again and god awful, will make a billion for sure. Superman MIGHT get another movie but it'll be packed with other DC heroes again and have the Authority as the villains, formed by Engineer and Lex. IF it gets made. A massive Elseworlds project will be announced, apparently backed by some heavy hitter A-listers who want WB to put the project under the New Line Cinema banner so they won't have to deal with James Gunn who, as Jeff Sneider said, has made himself into a joke in WB internally due to his endless social media fiascos.

Yes and no. No big DCU setup because the DCU effectively doesn't exist internally anymore. What you will have is Peacemaker, Lanterns and Supergirl building up to Brainiac who will be the main villain in a Superman/Supergirl sequel (should Supergirl not bomb which is a TALL order)
