Only that he slipped up and got caught. He talked a pedophile into cutting his own face off and he got rid of that substandard violin player. He made the world a better place in ways both large and small.

wasn't that the same guy whose head was in the jar that Clarice found. Lector said he didn't kill him.

I could be wrong but in the book, Lector did kill him, but they changed some of the details for the movie. They didn't catch those changes when they wrote the sequels based on those books and so a plot hole popped up.

It's probably the best movie that hack Brett Ratner ever directed, but I guess it's because the cast carries hard.

I love Lecter, he's such a cool character
The movie is peak destilled cinema
The book drags around, it goes oon and oon, it's a bit of a chore
The movie just perfectly captures everything that needs to be there, it's only crime is cutting too much of the gore,I think it could use 10% more gruesome, just a notch, movie is just a little too watered down

Don't know, he was much more unhinged in here. You can see the years in confinement are killing him inside.

>>213709296
I never got the praise. For me it's a 6/10 movie, Lecter is too cartoonish for my taste.
