Take Hearts of Iron IV or earlier titles of the franchise for example. The game has to make Germany give the Soviets Eastern Poland because based on the mechanics of the game the Allies WOULD get dragged into a war with the Soviets if they actually attacked Poland, so it has to handwave the situation with scripted events and national focuses.

Germany went first & it doesn't matter either way because they had it coming & they knew if they didn't get blitzkrieg to work completely & end the war within two years that they would be completely done for. The French and British leadership weren't fanatical retards like Hitler was. They prioritized which one was the most urgent threat to deal with. Winston Churchill came up with Operation Unthinkable to attack the Soviets but couldn't get enough backing from the other allies so they dropped it.

Once again, the entire Cold War was about dealing with the Soviets and the threat of Communism to try and liberate eastern Europe.

The allies broke treaties out of sheer pragmatism. Hitler broke treaties out of sheer fanaticism. A very stark difference.

I'm no kike lover but that anon isn't wrong, the axis powers bit off more than they could chew. neither Germany nor Japan had the resources to sustain a prolonged war on several fronts. you can sympathize with them ideologically but still recognize that they weren't flawless. granted, Germany was between a rock and a hard place, if they hadn't started up the war machine it's very likely that Europe would have been steamrolled by the Soviets, but still they were probably more aggro than they had to be. Japan though, really had no real reason to be as aggro as they were.
