Honestly though has Jon Snow said "thank you" even once to the wildlings for fighting in someone else's war? Also why is Jon needlessly sacrificing precious lives into a meat grinder instead of working on a peace agreement with Ramsay Bolton?

Hmmm it's almost like both of those things might play a role in the story later on...

>OK Allister you are right. We can't be sure 100 thousand wildlings will remain calm. Build extra prisons. Inform the Umber's and ask them to send protective forces to help keep the peace. Furthermore we will find husband's and wives to marry the wildlings go to cement our unity and ensure peace

See how fucking hard is it jesus christ

Jon never trusted the wildlings, which is ironic since he was the one who was the double agent to them.

There was never going to be a peace agreement with Ramsay Bolton, he was a murderous sociopath that would've betrayed them as soon as he saw an opportunity (there was a lot of opportunities)

The fight was coming to the widlings anyway. Ramsay was not gonna let widlings roam free in the north
