I haven't been in a theater with my mother since probably 2002...
I haven't watched a movie on a couch with my mother since maybe purchasing a DVD or Laserdisc or something in, like, 2004...
MAYBE we saw a "movie" in the IMAX at the Henry Doorly Zoo sometime in 2006??? Does that count? Probably some documentary on whales or something, with the rest of my family where she played the part of grandmother???

my parents are at a stage where i suspect they havent seen a movie in years except random reruns of some ancient ones from their youth. dad watches whatever sports event is live on tv, they both watch random shitty tv shows. A successful mainstream movie starts on tv, they just flip the channel.
