Somehow I remember nothing about Oliver even though I'm almost positive I've seen it, but I do remember liking Mouse Detective even though in my youth I felt it didn't live up to the kino of Nimh or the adventures of Icabod and Mr Toad
TFW you don't have Drive available in your formative years so you have to download your personality from Mr Toad

My mother already owned "The Stranger," "Piano Man," and "The Greatest Hits Volumes I & II" and she played them in the car full-stop when we went on Summer vacations to visit my grandparents. I think his music is fine, but the real result is I basically have over a dozen Billy Joel musical tracks memorized to-this-day.
My wife loves that, so, okay.

When you draw you have to take anatomy into account. They spend all day basically drawing a character naked and then drawing on clothes to fit her form and movement. Do that for 10 hours a day 6 days a week and you'd be a coomer too

Yeah it's even worse for their 3d animators. The characters are basically nude until the final rendering. The VAs from Frozen used to make jokes about it while recording.

Pretty much. He started a new company in 2020 to publish kids books to establish characters to later adapt into hand drawn animation.
I admire his commitment to hand drawn animation but I donโ€™t think theyโ€™ve produced any shows or movies.

I hated Don Bluth as a kid, going from the "Awww shucks, ain't I the most adowwwable thing you've evew seen?" characters, to trying to depress/scare the fuck out of children.

I always preferred Fievel Goes West, because it dropped the schmaltz, and just opted to be fun comedic adventure, with a hell of a voice cast to boot. I had a major league crush on Tanya too.
