He was the best villain. The episode he invaded the prison with a freaking tank still my favorite. It is actually, one of my favorite episode of any serie I watched. This is strange to me, because overall, season 4 was one of the worsts

He was pure evil.
There were very few broken characters. Characters like Lizzie Samuels and Dr. Pete Anderson were driven to violence by Rick's evil, psychopathic/psychotic crew. Morgan is the only broken character I can think of where it wasn't a direct result of Rick & co.

I just rewatched S1E1, then I watched a random episode from season 11, holy shit, the tone, everything, it was so much fucking better in S1E1. That pilot episode just hits completely different. If they had kept that quality, ran for only like 5 or 6 seasons (no more), it would have been the best show to come out of the 2010s.

Darabont knew when to deviate from the comics to make the show better, such as giving us Daryl or making the zombies move faster. Too bad they forgot that pretty quickly. I fucking hate jews.
