I never knew Rogan was supposed to be comedian, I thought he was just a douchebag podcast host.

Then I saw a couple minutes of him interviewing Dave Mustaine, frontman of one of the biggest metal bands ever, touring for the last 40 years, including during metal's 80s heyday, and Rogan was trying to commiserate with him about "life on the road" as if they were equals. They don't even make a camera large enough to snap that for my cringe compilation.

Is that Rogan's whole thing? Larping as a comedian?

Joe Rogan actually knew Shore's mom, Mitzi. He even calls The Comedy Store just "Mitzi's". Allegedly she encouraged him to do comedy and he cries whenever she's brought up. He also has a memorial to her in his comedy club. A memorial. In a comedy club.

He sucked and still sucks. Every generation has something totally stupid that they like and he was one of those things for a brief period. Encino Man was fine. He should have stayed there. Being the lead in movies like "Jury Duty" and "In the Army Now" was the mistake the studios made.

He was everything wrong with the 90s. He had NO talent. He couldn't deliver lines or be clever. He had nothing going for him. I'm still now sure how he pulled it off. But he's a national joke now. Any time he's anywhere they just make fun of him. He's not respected as an actor or a comic. He was a fucking MTV "VJ", and that's all he was qualified to do.
Dan Cortese was probably more talented.

I sat next to him at the AVN awards and annoyed the shit out of him by getting drunk and repeatedly saying “It’s the weeeasel” and then making the weasel “tu tu tu tu” sound. He was sober and extremely pissed off. Then when me and my friends were walking down the hall to our room at The Venetian he saw that we were right next door to him and we probably kept him up all night.

Kino. The 3rd Act is rough, but kino.

Speaking of the 3rd Act, it also has the best scene. One of Pauly's superfans is trying to kill him after he faked his death. And then Pauly does all his catchphrases from his films, including Jury Duty
>"Save me Judge Ito!"
and Pauly starts to get tears in his eyes and whispers,
>"Thank you"
basically saying, thanks for being a fan. Best acting I've ever seen him do because you can actually see Pauly go through all the emotions.

I didn’t understand why he was there if he wasn’t in the show and he was staying sober. And if you’ve ever had a suite at The Venetian during the AVN weekend when you walk down the halls there are doors open and they’re filming porn movies in the rooms and people party and go from room to room all night.
