What do we think of post-Larry David Seinfeld?

trvthnvke is it's better and literally 95 percent of the classic scenes come from the last two seasons without him

Not as random, but decent still. Soup nazi is post-Larry.

They still had some good ideas but not enough. Backward episode was good.

Better pacing and storylines which led to more memorable episodes and characters' stories converging in unique and funny ways.

it's great. has a different vibe for sure, but some of the funniest episodes are in seasons 8 and 9. sometimes I think they're my favourite seasons of the show. I'm glad it ended when it did though, I don't know if they could have sustained it.

Great. Not as grounded as the Larry David episodes. But it had some high highs and some low lows. The episode where George becomes smart from not having sex and Elaine becomes dumb is one of the worst eps they've ever done. But the Merv Griffin show set ep is in my top 5

They're easily better than seasons 1 through 3. I think they ended it on at a good time, but also feel like they were really hitting a stride that was becoming cartoonish and would have been interesting to see another two seasons of. But I feel the post Larry David seasons are bonus enough as it is.

Yeah, very early Seinfeld is just an oddly paced and frankly lackluster comedy. It took a while for them to find their stride, a luxury that would never happen nowadays.

Too over the top and cartoonish. Worse than the preceding seasons, but still better than the first two.

Making Puddy a regular character was something they should have done two seasons before.

>Everyone says this but I literally cannot tell the difference
Are you serious? Seasons 8 and 9 had insane plots that had no basis in reality. Off the top of my head
>the Elaine/George no sex thing
>Elaine telling Mr. Lippman that someone should open a shop that sells only muffin tops and then the next day Lippman had a muffin to store in NYC when in reality the entire process would take months
>George playing real life Frogger on the streets of NYC

The actor left the show because he got a regular gig on a show called Dave's World. After that show ended he went back to Seinfeld.

I love every story related to The Susan Ross Foundation. J. Peterman was also Elaine's best boss and there's a lot of great stories revolving around that job.
