What are some directors you think are massively overrated?

Villeneuve
Del Toro

Eggers is the definition of McDonald's arthouse. Villeneuve is soulless and DUNC especially sucks. Del Toro is reddit incarnate

I used to defend Nolan, but it is has gotten pretty hard to do that. I think his style is aging badly if anything too.

Not that they didn't used to be good, but Ridley Scott, James Cameron, and Martin Scorsese all lost their minds at some point and can't make anything good.
