>>213784313I feel like it would be if I watched it with strangers who never saw it before. I never saw this movie until very late in my kino life. Always was on my list but never got around to it. Then I think they had it on Criterion Channel or something during on of their October Halloween months. It is a low budget full but it is honestly one of the scariest films I have ever seen. Like the realistic violence and horror of "what if this guy actually exists out there down a road in bum fuck America". Cus I live in America and there are a lot of long highways with nothing for miles and miles and miles where a house like that might exist. Especially it being a 70s film where there's no intenert or cellphones. You would have to run your ass back to that gas station that was on the road an hour ago.
Didn't know it's back in theatres. I also really enjoyed the second one isn't Dennis Hopper. (Was that the second one or third?) I know it's a little bit goofy but it has attitude.
