I never found Clarke to be a loser. He was a hard-working father that wanted the best for his family. The kitchen scene where he explains to his wife that he doesn't get to see his children as often as he liked due to work hours is probably the only serious dialogue within the running-time. Clarke fantasizing about the woman in the red Ferrari is because his family are ungrateful for his time and dedication. He should have screwed Ferrari girl, then returned back to his hotel room, and got his wife to suck her clam juice from his cock.
