I went in with the lowest expectations and I still hated it for how utterly contrived and unconvincing virtually every single thing about it felt. Yeah I went in to this with some optimism and had to stop watching after about 15 minutes. Completely interminable. It might have been cool for a minute in the late 2000s but at this point that style is so dated and tedious.

The problem is that he still seems to be able to get "big-name actors" and so it would be easy for him to get funding to make the movie. And those "big-name actors" would work for peanuts/scale since Ethan is coasting on his Coen Brothers reputation.
