Yes and no. There's a lot of creative aspects to it and some interesting stories but there are also stories that are just kind of run of the mill or boring. It seems like it and Regular Show were made with the intention of being appealing to children and their parents so parents wouldn't be so bored watching with their kids.

Pretty fun kids show for the first half, It then turns into a product made for and by 30 something lesbians and tumblr girls with contempt for the main character and premise. I think the decline first started with Marceline, She's obviously just an insert for the writers daddy issues and the cringey songs make some episodes unbearable but when it absolutely started going to shit was the whole fire Princess fetish episode, Not only the writers inserted some weird perverted shit into the narrative, they eviscerated Finn's character, seemingly with malice.
