>setup as a ruthless 300IQ killing machine
>dies like Wile E. Coyote splatted against the plane wing mid-flight

doesnt the AI become self aware or something and then IT becomes the big bad? i can't remember, i watched dead reckoning at the end of a two day MI marathon and they all started blending together - plus i havent actually seen the last one yet

Yeah it wants to genocide all of humanity for, um, reasons. It starts a cult - somehow - based on the idea of saving a chosen few to repopulate the earth under its benevolent rule, but its actual plan is apparently to hide in a doomsday-proof datacentre bunker with solar power and kill everyone cultists included. Apparently it hasn't considered it might need people to, you know, repair the facility, or to clean all the dead-people ash from a nuclear gigapocalypse off those solar panels periodically so they keep working.

Legitimately one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen, and not in the usual MI way of being preposterous but fun, it's legit just retarded this time.

the theory of it is actually really deep and complex to me, but the execution is always going to be lame in the modern scope. because they just make it so fantastical right off the bat making it a super genius while our technology around it still hasnt advanced past cool smartphones, screens, with flashy interfaces.
if you want to sperg about this kind of theory though. particularly details like this:
>might need people to, you know, repair the facility, or to clean all the dead-people ash from a nuclear gigapocalypse off those solar panels periodically so they keep working.
then thats cool to think about, and i have something in mind in particular when i think about this stuff.

john c lilly talks about his experiences with alien entities at an airport.
http://cosmicegg.org/ECCO.pdf
basically the bad guys from his visions and their long-term intentions actually align up with whats happening now
>referred to as 'Solid State Intelligence'
>want complete totalitarian technological control grid of the planet
>intelligent animal species like dolphins HATE them

interesting character
for example hes got real world spook connections:
http://www.cosmicegg.org/intervista%20lilly1.pdf
>Maybe we could start running workshops at Esalen.
esalen is a spook training grounds for the likes of alex jones, joe rogan, alan watt, buddhist, new age spiritual leader and "grifter" types.

yeah I didn't like that
I like the actor and I liked the character in part 1 but he was wasted in part 2
the change of dynamic was good but the character wasn't really shown to be competent beyond script magic
