The writing has gotten so ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I'm along for the kino but they need to go full paranormal with it.

Thats why I prefer Breaking Bad to Dexter. The BB writers knew Walt could only get away with so much before he got fucked.

Yes the last episode has a lot of Dex being overconfident and getting away with shit that he probably shouldn't.
But I don't see it as him being impossibly lucky, I see it as telegraphing that ep 7 or 8 will balance things out and have everything go to shit and send him into crisis mode
