Only in technicality. Pixar has been a zombie for too long now. I thought The Good Dinosaur was their last decent release.

Merchandise machine and occasionally they pump out a sequel to one of their beloved, old films that offsets the rest of their failures. Inside Out 2 made $1.7 billion, Incredibles 2 made $1.2 billion and Toy Story 4 made $1.07 billion. As long as sequel slop and Cars toys and t-shirts makes money Zombie Pixar will continue trudging along.

Coco was good, Soul was fine, it was borderline unwatchable after that though, either way, I think the good dinosaur gets too much undeserved hate, it mogs finding dory and incredibles 2 any day of the week, and arguably all cars movies, only bad things about it are like two scenes and the fact that the hyperealistic environments clash with the cartoony characters.

Newt would have been so much better than anything that came out after its cancellation, pretty sure gigantic was WDA though.
