Smallville Lex was like 20 (? graduated from uni, but friends with 14-year-olds? it was unclear). and he was a fucking weirdo, giving soliloquys about Alexander the Great and shit.

Lex has been the same age as Superman in the comics since at least 2010 with Secret Origin. Smallville's popularity changed a lot of stuff.
