It's kind of shocking how good Jimmy Neutron looks for the time.

It was produced as a short for a theatrical film so I'm guessing they had more money in the beginning to work with, the TV show came because they had all these assets and needed to do something with them

Reboot's not a part of that "Era", it was a precursor like BW that was hopping on the Toy Story hype train.

The Cubix/Jimmy Neutron/Butt Ugly Martians was from the era when they were trying to use CGI as a cost cutting measure with the intention of doing bigger productions with the same assets, not realizing that it would end up costing far, far more than the 2D shows of the same era because CGI is just that much more expensive than traditional was. They were all made with the idea of toy sales thanks to Beast Wars absolute gonzo sales(Literally revived the franchise from near death thanks to misfires like the non-transforming transformers), but obviously that didn't pan out.

Call it the CGI fumble era

You mean Reboot, which was early 90's. Max Steel, Jimmy Neutron, Butt Ugly Martians and Cubix all came out between 2000-2002, they're all obviously made for the same reasons.

Objective dogshit with jokes that landed about 2-3% of the time.
That being said, I remember a joke where they free some tribal aliens on the planet from being the Clowns who were enslaving them and call in the federation to take over the planet. The tribal elders ask the federation ruler if his people were free from slavery and told them that now they were wage slaves and to get to work. It’s the only joke I think I can remember, other than them joking about 6 of 9 getting new voice actors.
