They'd probably go into more political dynamics if it was simply about Roarke's Drift battle. A full rundown on the Anglo-Zulu War would be kino, but if it was done with historical accuracy morons would claim it was woke, because the British were 100% the bad guys in the whole affair and it was a shitshow from the start.
