When they were doing 22 episodes per season it had extremely low cinematic quality.

There's a reason, why TV world and cinema world was divided, because TV shows were shit.

OP like always is a faggot. There are still series with around 20 episodes per season, like CSI or NCIS. However, prestige series were always short-ish. The Sopranos, The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Fargo, Succession etc. all had relatively short seasons.
