is podcasting money so good that everyone in hollywood needs one of their own now? and then they all interview each other in a big circlejerk?

Marketing is a trillion dollar industry that can and often does eclipse the actual production budget

podcasting does not necessarily earn you money but it is lucrative because of the exposure.

>exposure
Do people even listen to all these copy-pasted podcasts? How the fuck do people find the time since they are all like 1 hour or longer.

The sole function of podcasts is to help pass the time during slow days at work, has been from the beginning

I blame Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. Their podcast is a zero effort hugbox that people just liked because they already liked The Office, but everyone kept congratulating them and every celeb got convinced that making a good podcast was easy and they should just go for it without even an idea for what it should be.

Sona is the best part of Conan's content. Makes me sad that after he does she's probably not gonna continue in show business.

Some of them are like fucking 2 hours go 3, I dont get it. Vapid circlejerk celebrity conversations are so lame and gay. It is the new late night talk.show cringe and by new I mean 15 years outdated

Work a mind-numbing job and you'll need something in the background for hours on end.

Theyre all narcissists so now that it's socially okay (status wise) for celebs to have podcasts they all hop on

You assume money is the motivation rather than ego there's plenty of literal who nobody podcasters because the cost of entry is so low the biggest cost is associated with storing the data which companies like google do for free

She was best in small doses. Her hammy laugh wouldn't be so bad if she didn't force it on every minutely "humorous" thing someone said. Plus, she's old, fat and gross now so she's not the novelty she once was.

For me, it was the XFM/Ricky Gervais show.
Ricky, Steve and Karl are still the goat trio.

Even Opie & Anthony (and Jim Norton), arguably had only 2/3 + guests carrying the show.
