Never got the Jerry hate, i like him in Seinfeld.

Counterpoint, a show focused on any of them instead of Jerry would've sucked. As good as they are individually, they needed a solid straight man to bind them together. Basically all of the best scenes in the show are Jerry and sone other character having a conversation

You need Jerry. He sucks but you need him. He’s the rock of the show. His suckiness just further accentuates how talented the rest of them are. He’s the straight man, he’s the vehicle, the show needed him. The show wouldn’t have been made without him. If you don’t get this you’ll never enjoy Seinfeld
